(Junior) Health & Safety Expert / Sicherheitsfachkraft (m/w/x) (Certified Protection and Safety Specialist (IHK))

In this versatile position, you will provide advisory support to our departments on all matters relating to occupational safety and health protection and assist them in designing safe working conditions. In doing so, you will ensure compliance with legal requirements and actively contribute to the further development of our Health & Safety management system.

What to expect:

• Supporting departments in the creation of safety and emergency plans, operating instructions, and other EHS documents
• Conducting audits and safety inspections as well as analysis and documentation of incidents
• Advising and acting as the central contact person for EHS topics, including participation in safety-relevant training and instructions
• Evaluation of work equipment, substances, and processes including hazard analysis, as well as supporting departments in defining protective measures (incl. qualification of PSA)
• Coordination of EHS specialists as well as monitoring legal requirements and safety-relevant key figures

What you bring:

• A completed technical education (HTL, FH, or university)
• Training as a Sicherheitsfachkraft is desirable
• Training as a waste management officer is an advantage
• Sound MS-Office skills
• Strong organizational skills, structured and independent way of working
• Commitment, teamwork skills, and cross-departmental thinking
• Good written and spoken English skills

Salary:

We would prefer to discuss the salary personally, but we can reveal this much: We naturally orient ourselves towards market-standard salaries - which means that, depending on the position and education, overpayment compared to the collective agreement is possible right from the start. For this position, we offer an annual gross salary of at least 45,500 EUR. Depending on qualification and experience, there is more!
