Objective of the position

To maintain the facilities in optimal condition through internal guidelines and processes, with the purpose of ensuring that the mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance areas are in an optimal state.

Requirements

Education: Electronics, mechatronics, robotics, electrical Eng., or related field Experience: minimum of 1 year in automated conveyor belt systems Availability to work rotating shifts

Functions or activities of the position

• Perform visual inspections during the operation of the belt systems to detect strange noises that may cause potential failures during their operation.
• Verify that there is no accumulation of packages or alarms that interfere with the performance of the belt system and that it is in good condition during operation.
• Execute conservation and maintenance routines through the cleaning and lubrication of moving parts, checking the state of wear parts in any type of shaft, pillow block, bearing, and conveyor belt of the machinery.
• Keep control panels clean. Through the cleaning of electrical circuits. To avoid dust saturation, preventing emergency stops.
• Check the oil level in the following equipment under the responsibility of the maintenance technician: hydraulic pump for telescopics to avoid damage to the hydraulic system.
• Keep the telescopics and loading/unloading conveyor belts in good condition to avoid delays to the operations area.
• Check the operation of the warehouse curtains to avoid accidents to operations personnel.
• Keep the lighting in good condition.
• Execute maintenance routines for the emergency plant systems, UPS, and electrical support equipment.
• Attend to urgent repairs in any facility of Estafeta or group companies.
