ABOUT THE AREA

Endeavor's Selection Team is responsible for attracting and selecting future Endeavor Entrepreneurs. They are high-impact entrepreneurs at the helm of Scale-Ups – high-growth companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform the search and selection of companies for the Endeavor Entrepreneur Selection programs, analyzing businesses based on selection criteria;
  • Support entrepreneurs in their main growth challenges, such as Culture and People Management; Access to Capital and Fundraising; Growth and Sales Machine; Product, connecting them with expert mentors in each subject;
  • Conduct, manage, and operationalize the selection process for Endeavor Entrepreneurs, ensuring the quality of the entrepreneurs' experience throughout the business evaluation;
  • Study different markets (Health, Financial Market, Smart Cities, etc.) and business models (Marketplace, SaaS, Consumer) and create selection theses for candidate companies.
  • Develop deep materials that summarize the profile and moment of the companies, diving deep into their strategies and studying each company's market.
  • Financial analysis of the main financial statements (P&L; cash flow and balance sheet) - with the help of the mentor network;
  • Management of the company portfolio (selection pipeline) ensuring the progress of processes and consistency throughout the funnel;
  • Build and cultivate a relationship of trust and high quality with candidates, the mentor network, and Endeavor entrepreneurs;
  • Ensure that all knowledge is internalized and maintained within the organization;
  • Act in the improvement of processes in the Endeavor Entrepreneur Selection area.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Completed higher education
  • Advanced English (writing, reading, and conversation);
  • Business knowledge and passion for entrepreneurship;
  • Adaptability and analytical capacity to analyze various markets and sectors, different metrics and business models, as well as diagnosing the main challenges and operational bottlenecks of companies in the selection process;
  • Communication skills, flexibility, relationship building, and negotiation – both with the entrepreneurs in the process and with the high-level network.

It will be a plus

  • Previous experience in scale-ups or organizations that support this audience (VCs, accelerators)
  • Having completed courses/deepening in financial analysis
  • Previous entrepreneurial experience
