At Coforge, we are looking for a Senior QA Engineer – Automation (22791) with the following profile.

Main Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain test automation scripts using Selenium and Java.

Automate tests under BDD approaches using Cucumber and Karate DSL.

Develop and execute automated tests for mobile applications using Appium.

Perform API testing and validation using Postman and SoapUI.

Automate API tests using Karate DSL and Java.

Design and execute performance tests using JMeter.

Execute functional and automated tests, identifying and reporting defects.

Manage test cases and defects using Jira and Xray.

Integrate and execute automated tests through CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

Participate in agile teams and collaborate with different technical teams.

Analyze and resolve problems related to test execution and automation.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation processes and strategies.

Indispensable Requirements

+4 years of experience in QA Automation.

Solid experience in test automation using Selenium and Java.

Experience with BDD, Cucumber, and Karate DSL.

Experience in mobile test automation with Appium.

Experience in API testing and certification.

Experience with Karate DSL + Java for API automation.

Experience in manual testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.

Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.

Knowledge of TestNG, Jenkins, and Git.

Experience using test management tools such as Jira and Xray.

Ability to work autonomously and in agile teams.

Availability to work under a hybrid modality 2 times per week.

English level A2.

Desirable Requirements

Experience in the design and maintenance of automation frameworks.

Knowledge of automated test integration in CI/CD pipelines.

Experience in web, API, and mobile application test automation.

Knowledge of automation and testing best practices.

Analytical capacity, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
