Location: Dortmund

We are looking for an Accountant, General Ledger (m/f/d) for our location in Dortmund, starting immediately.

Your Activities

• Collaboration with the internal Shared Service Centers as well as external contact persons
• Acts as a link between the finance and operational teams, facilitating communication and promoting a cooperative working environment
• Management of the entire lifecycle of fixed assets, from acquisition to disposal, and ensuring the correct and timely recording of transactions
• Preparation of reports on investments and asset inventory for internal management
• Carrying out regular reviews and valuations to verify the accuracy of fixed asset records and to identify any discrepancies or irregularities
• Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as maintaining the fixed asset register according to IFRS and HGB
• Participation in process optimizations
• Project-related special tasks

Your Profile

• Tax assistant or financial accountant with initial practical experience in the preparation of annual financial statements
• SAP knowledge (FI and FI-AA) is an advantage
• Knowledge of national and international accounting standards
• Basic knowledge of tax law is desirable
• Good English skills
• Sound knowledge of common Office applications
• Team player paired with communicative competence
• Resilience, good time management, as well as service and customer orientation
