DSV Global Projects & Industry Solutions (DPIS) is one of the world's leading providers of project logistics. To strengthen our Multimodal Solutions team at the Düsseldorf location, we are looking for a dedicated Project Manager (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date.

As a Project Manager in the Multimodal Solutions area, you will develop customized and innovative transport concepts for national and intercontinental orders and projects. Large-scale and heavy transports by truck as well as inland waterway shipments are a particular focus.

Your Activities

• Independent development of transport solutions and preparation of offers for national and continental oversized and/or heavy transports with a focus on the transport modes truck and inland waterway
• Independent planning, implementation and operational execution as well as economic responsibility for the entrusted projects and orders
• Rate negotiations with carriers as well as purchasing, scheduling and booking of freight space and transport capacities
• Communication with the most important stakeholders at customers, partners, service providers

Your Profile

• Successfully completed training in the field of transport/ logistics or a subject-related degree as well as relevant professional experience, ideally in the project business
• Strong enthusiasm for logistical topics and technical challenges
• High communicative and intercultural competence
• Service and customer orientation, teamwork skills
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
