Technical Purchaser (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Procurement of complex systems and technical components for automation systems
• Supporting sales in the quotation phase through calculations and technical evaluations
• Coordination of technical requirements with design and specialist departments
• Management of procurement processes regarding costs, deadlines, and quality
• Selection, qualification, and development of international suppliers
• Conducting supplier evaluations as well as identification of savings and optimization potential
• Further development of procurement processes with a focus on digitalization, automation, and AI

Your qualifications:

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable technical qualification
• Several years of experience in technical purchasing in mechanical engineering or plant engineering
• Very good technical understanding and experience in evaluating technical requirements
• Experience in operational and/or strategic purchasing
• Business-fluent English skills
• Structured, independent, and analytical way of working
• Interest in process optimization as well as digital and AI-supported tools
