Head of Purchasing & Supply Chain (m/f/d) (Business Administrator (University) - Automotive Industry)

For our client, we are looking for an experienced personality as part of a direct placement who will manage purchasing processes, further develop international supplier relationships, and, together with adjacent departments, ensure stable material and supply chain processes. This position is to be filled as part of a direct placement / as part of personnel recruitment.

Team Leader Procurement (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Lead the purchasing team and goods receipt with five employees
• Be responsible for project purchasing, series purchasing, and supplier management
• Negotiate framework agreements and optimize purchasing processes
• Analyze procurement markets and further develop supplier strategies
• Monitor material availability, orders, and inventory processes

Your qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration or commercial-technical training with further education
• Several years of experience in technical or strategic purchasing, ideally in the Automotive environment
• Understanding of industrial and manufacturing processes, ideally Automotive
• Business fluent English at C1 level and international communication strength
• Knowledge of Sage ERP, HS-Codes, as well as very good Excel skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
• 2 days of home office per week and flexible working arrangements
