Your tasks:

  • You develop algorithms and calculation methods in the network calculation software PowerFactory
  • Your responsibility covers the entire development process: research, design, specification, and implementation through to testing and maintenance
  • For the further development of our products for the analysis of large energy supply networks, you will contribute your expert knowledge in algorithmics, numerics, and optimization in an advisory capacity
  • You support our application engineers in customer support

What you bring with you:

  • Successful university degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable course of study, a doctorate is also welcome
  • Sound knowledge in the field of numerical mathematics and Operations Research
  • Knowledge in the analysis of energy supply networks is advantageous
  • Knowledge and practical experience in an object-oriented programming language (such as C++, Java, C#)
