Senior Buyer (m/f/d) Mechanics - limited to 2 years (Industrial Engineer)

These are your tasks:

• In this position, you are responsible for the sourcing of components for existing and new projects, including offset fulfillment, capacity increases, and risk reduction.
• Furthermore, you are responsible for executing ordering processes in SAP R3, compliance with quality standards and delivery dates, market analyses, and inquiries to identify cost-saving potential.
• You maintain close cooperation with internal stakeholders regarding requirements, contract contents, technical requirements, and possible claims.
• Participation in commodity group and supplier strategies rounds off your spectrum of tasks.

What you bring to the role:

• For this position, you have a successfully completed degree in the field of Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical training with further business administration education.
• We require several years of experience in purchasing, Category Management, or Key Account Management of drawn parts or complex mechanical assemblies including their surface coatings.
• Furthermore, you have a good technical understanding and experience in reading technical drawings.
• You are a true team player with a high degree of reliability, flexibility, and negotiation skills, and you impress with very good English skills as well as willingness to travel within Germany (approx. 15 %).
• Your independent, goal-oriented way of working, which is aimed at long-term success, as well as your strong analytical skills, are your contribution to our mutual success.
