We are looking for an experienced Software Architect professional who will take full responsibility for the architecture of enterprise-level applications. In this role, you will have a key role in the technical implementation of business requirements and in the professional management of international development teams. Tasks Full design and management of Enterprise application architecture Transforming business requirements (from the Value Stream Owner side) into technical concepts Professional leadership and coordination of international, English-speaking development teams Ensuring the integration of development results into the Telekom system environment Designing and evaluating scalable, secure, and sustainable system architectures Enforcing architecture governance, development, and quality standards Designing distributed systems and integration solutions Analyzing, structuring, and communicating requirements between business and technical stakeholders Continuous consultation between professional areas, architecture, and development teams Ensuring technical consistency across multiple systems Taking into account complex systems and processes operating in a Telekom environment Compliance with and enforcement of internal processes and governance regulations

Requirements Several years of experience in designing enterprise application architectures Strong backend architecture experience in Java-based systems Confident frontend architecture knowledge (Angular and/or React) Experience in designing scalable, secure, and well-maintainable systems Thorough knowledge of distributed systems and integration solutions Experience in the technical implementation of complex requirements Ability for effective communication between business and technical teams Understanding of telecommunications systems and enterprise IT environments Experience in enforcing architecture governance and quality standards Excellent communication skills for the understandable transfer of complex topics Language skills: German – C1 English – C1

Advantages Experience in scaled agile operations (e.g., SAFe, value stream-based organizations) Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud architecture principles (e.g., T Cloud Public or similar environments) Experience collaborating with operations, service management, or SRE-related roles Knowledge of security standards (e.g., OWASP) at the architecture level Experience in architecture reviews, decision-making, and creating documentation Handling non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, stability) Use of Jira, Confluence, and architecture documentation tools Collaboration with multiple organizational units and external partners Experience in facilitating workshops and architectural decision-making
