(Senior) Credit/Rating Analyst (d/w/m)

for our Infrastructure/Energy/Project Finance team

As a central credit department, we are responsible for the risk classification of our customers and the voting on credit decisions. In the Infrastructure/Energy customer cluster, we create corporate ratings for borrowers as well as key participants in project financing in developing and emerging countries worldwide and assess the risks in the infrastructure sectors of these countries.

  • Evaluation of annual financial statements and analysis of creditworthiness in the Infrastructure / Project Finance business area of DEG
  • Creation of corporate ratings for borrowers, sponsors, offtakers, EPC/ O&M contractors
  • Creation of industry, portfolio, and "peer group" analyses
  • Support of risk managers in the analysis of decision templates including expert opinions and financial models as well as the voting on credit decisions
  • Close cooperation with engagement and relationship managers in the market departments
