Daily tasks
- Designing and developing the architecture of Microsoft Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local environments
- Analyzing requirements and selecting solutions, taking into account security, compliance, and maintainability
- Creating automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions using PowerShell and ARM Templates
- Developing and implementing new Azure services, including AKS support on Azure Local
- Designing and supporting application and database migrations, including migration and rollback strategies
- Analyzing and resolving complex incidents as part of 3rd line support, including root cause analysis
- Creating technical, operational, and security documentation and transferring knowledge to maintenance teams
- Working with Azure DevOps in terms of repositories, pipelines, and the deployment process
Requirements
Several years of practical experience in designing, architecting, implementing, or maintaining hybrid cloud platforms Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local Practical experience with Azure services, in particular: App Service, WebJobs, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL Very good experience in the area of Infrastructure as Code, specifically using PowerShell and ARM Templates Experience working with Azure DevOps, including Repositories, Pipelines, and Team Projects Very good troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical problems Knowledge of issues related to cybersecurity, information security, and compliance Experience in creating architectural, operational, and security documentation Very good command of English in a professional environment Independence, good work organization, and the ability to cooperate with technical and business teams
Nice to have:
Experience with Microsoft .NET applications and multi-tier architecture Microsoft certifications related to Azure, in particular: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer Certifications related to Hybrid Cloud Knowledge of the German language
