Tasks

• You will actively participate in the planning and implementation of process flows, contributing your professional expertise.
• The professional leadership of employees as well as the conducting of employee appraisals are part of your area of responsibility.
• You bear responsibility for the economic execution of transports and ensure that the agreed targets are achieved.
• You continuously optimize the freight forwarding processes within the "National and International Dispatch" department - always considering customer needs and with the goal of sustainable improvement in results.
• In close cooperation with the freight forwarding and/or sales management, you look after our customers and ensure professional communication.
• You plan and adjust the network capacities in the dispatch area according to demand.
• Quality within the department is monitored and controlled by you; furthermore, you create regular reports for the freight forwarding management.
• The training and further education of employees in the dispatch area is actively accompanied and promoted by you.
• You keep relevant logistical key figures in view, derive potential for improvement from them, and implement corresponding measures for optimization.

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed training as a Kaufmann (m/f/d) for Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung or a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Logistics Management.
• You bring sound professional experience in the field of dispatch - ideally supplemented by initial leadership experience.
• Knowledge of customs matters as well as practical experience in this area are also part of your competence spectrum.
• Technical vehicle knowledge as well as an ADR basic qualification round off your logistical expertise.
• You are very confident and proficient in handling IT systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Your English skills in spoken and written form are solid; knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage.
• Geographical knowledge supports you in the efficient planning and control of transport processes.
• High communication skills, strong assertiveness, as well as an organized and structured way of working characterize you personally.
