Job Description
Coupang Global Security Operations Center (hereinafter GSOC) serves as a crisis management center, providing real-time monitoring of internal and external risks. It leads rapid responses according to crisis management processes when incidents/accidents occur to ensure employee safety and support business continuity. To deal with various incidents and accidents that may occur within the company, it operates 24/7/365, ensuring that incidents/accidents are disseminated quickly when they occur and that appropriate support is provided to resolve them.
Responsibilities
Acting as a communication hub for the Global Security department
Receiving and responding in a timely manner to various risks and incidents/accidents identified through monitoring systems
Monitoring global events, assessing their impact, and sharing with GSOC partners
Identifying, assessing, and classifying external threats that may affect company operations, employees, facilities, and customers
Monitoring and communicating risks related to supply chain assets
Supporting GSOC Supervisor (Manager) tasks
Employment Type
1-year contract (Conversion to permanent position may be considered based on job performance)
Day/Night and weekend shift work required
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor's degree in fields such as Emergency Management, Safety Management, Environment, Management, Economics, Communication, Information Technology, Political Science, Engineering, Geography, Security Studies, etc.
Ability to communicate with management-level personnel in writing (and orally if necessary) through excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask in high-stress and time-constrained situations
Ability to critically analyze and think even in ambiguous situations
Self-motivated, highly responsive, proactive, and able to take ownership of tasks until completion
Ability to work day/night and weekend schedules
Proficiency in English conversation (Intermediate level or higher)
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of experience in related industries such as Industrial Safety / EHS / Physical Security / Military / SOC (Security Operations Center) / Control / Risk Management / Customer Response, etc.
Practical knowledge of global events and global geography/culture
Experience with computer knowledge and technology, and working with complex platforms
Experience in IT, Information, Corporate, Military, or Security sectors
