Electrical BIM Coordinator

At Consultores de Empresas, we are looking for an Electrical BIM/VDC Coordinator!

We are searching for a professional with experience in BIM/VDC, electrical modeling, and construction project coordination, to join a team working on highly complex commercial projects.

Main responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze construction documentation for electrical systems.
• Design and model conduit systems according to design and constructability criteria.
• Develop and manage LOD 400 electrical models in Revit.
• Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and Revizto.
• Coordinate the electrical model with different disciplines and project teams.
• Prepare sleeve drawings, embedded points, and coordinate shop drawings.
• Ensure model accuracy and compliance with applicable codes.
• Resolve modeling issues and provide technical solutions.
• Provide support to field operations through remote coordination.
• Occasionally collaborate on mechanical/MEP modeling and process piping tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM/VDC and modeling for construction.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical project coordination.
• Experience in electrical trades.
• Revit is mandatory, with experience in detailed electrical modeling.
• Experience working with LOD 350-400 in electrical projects.
• Experience in interpreting construction documentation.
• Knowledge of Navisworks and/or Revizto.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM 360 is valued.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and their integration into the modeling process.
• Ability to resolve technical and coordination problems.
• Good communication and collaborative work skills in remote environments.
• Advanced English (mandatory)
