At ConeTec, we solve geotechnical research challenges through the collection, analysis, and delivery of high-quality technical information. We are looking for a Data Analyst, who will be responsible for the processing, analysis, and interpretation of technical data from geotechnical characterization campaigns, contributing directly to the preparation of accurate and timely reports for our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process and analyze geotechnical research data (field tests such as CPTu, VST, DMT, PMT, among others)
- Quickly identify possible anomalies in the data and proactively investigate root causes.
- Perform quality analysis to update, clean, and edit data, maintaining its integrity.
- Perform quality controls on collected data and ensure information integrity.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports that clearly communicate the results obtained.
- Work in close collaboration with field personnel, project managers, and stakeholders for the integration of requirements and delivery of reports satisfactory to the client.
- Develop a solid knowledge of geotechnical data practices, procedures, and interpretation.
- Develop efficient work practices to meet and exceed client expectations regarding timely report delivery.
- Propose and implement technical solutions to automate data-related tasks and improve their quality.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or graduated in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related careers oriented toward data analysis.
Experience:
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a similar data analysis position.
- Participation in projects involving cleaning, organization, and structured analysis of data.
Technical requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft environment tools (Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint).
- Ability to quickly learn technical or specialized software tools.
- Knowledge in data design, modeling, and structuring.
- Intermediate or advanced English (oral and written).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / AutoCAD Map 3D (Desirable).
- Knowledge of geotechnical parameters (Desirable).
