Within the Group Underwriting Department: you will join the arbitration team, integrated within the underwriting department, for adjacent specialized activities by providing support to arbitration on the following activities:

Arbitration of the Coface Re Surety Reinsurance activity

Group surety arbitration, with the objectives of reducing operational risk, improving workflow and reporting tools, and supporting the arbitration activity of new surety entities.

Main missions:

  • Analyze surety risks: "financial" risk related to the principal debtor / surety and associated risks:
  • To the performance by the surety of the underlying contract or obligation, which is the subject of the surety
  • To the type of surety to be issued (Taxonomy)
  • To the quality of the beneficiary
  • To the duration of the commitment.
  • Determine the maximum risk over a determined period under a surety facility, under a surety, or a risk participation behind an issuing bank. Determine the collateral / securities necessary for the granting of these risks.
  • Coordinate decision-making with the Group Arbitration Department, using and updating internal systems (ATLAS and NAVIGA).
  • Ensure and apply Group underwriting rules
  • Assist entities in analyzing their portfolios, adapting their underwriting policy, and the annual review of their authorizations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures defined by Coface and the regulator.

Activity breakdown:

  • Surety Reinsurance:
  • Support and review of portfolios in connection with local arbitration teams from a surety perspective and not TCI
  • Portfolio arbitration, portfolio analysis, participation in due diligence of cedants, GRUW committee presentation, and liaison with information teams
  • Group surety arbitration:
  • Driving the Surety arbitration activity in partnership with the Regions and local entities concerned by these products (Italy, Germany, France, Romania, Austria, etc.).
  • Engaging Coface by guaranteeing credit limits under Surety, within the framework of its delegations;
  • Monitoring annual reviews of facilities, supporting the implementation of reporting,
  • Controlling risks in collaboration with the Risk / Compliance department.
  • Contributing to the establishment of surety activity reporting
  • Ensuring follow-up of group surety risk management rules: delegations, types of surety, duration of sureties, relationship with the reinsurance department.
  • Ensuring coordination with the Group Risk Department (risk control) and presenting the activity to the Group Risk Committee

PROFILE

With a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Finance, you have solid similar experience of at least 5 years Experience in risk analysis with a particular focus on surety risk, which is characterized by long credit durations A capacity for synthesis and decision-making A good team spirit and a taste for teamwork. You demonstrate interpersonal ease and dynamism, you are organized and show autonomy in your work.
