Senior System & Network Engineer

Daily tasks

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining physical network infrastructure, particularly Juniper, NVIDIA/Mellanox devices, and other network platforms.
• Configuration and administration of Linux, VyOS, and OPNsense systems.
• Automation of processes and administrative tasks using Ansible and Python.
• Diagnosing and resolving network and performance issues.
• Handling tickets and resolving problems as part of the L2 support.

Requirements

Practical knowledge of Junos, NVIDIA Cumulus Linux, VyOS, or similar network operating systems (NOS).

Good knowledge of the TCP/IP network stack.

Good knowledge of routing protocols, particularly BGP and OSPF.

Good knowledge of the Linux system, particularly its networking mechanisms.

Knowledge of DNS, particularly BIND and/or PowerDNS.

Fluency in English communication, both spoken and written.

Skills that are welcome:

Knowledge of EVPN/VXLAN, particularly in NVIDIA Cumulus Linux and/or SONiC environments.

Knowledge of network security issues, particularly the configuration and administration of firewalls, VPNs, access control systems, and network segmentation mechanisms.

Knowledge of networking issues in OpenStack and/or Kubernetes environments.

Knowledge of network hardware manufacturers' offerings and the ability to evaluate and select appropriate solutions.

Experience with SONiC or other network operating systems (NOS).
