Legal Officer

Our client eu-LISA is the European Union agency responsible for operating large-scale IT systems, helping to keep Europe safe and supporting cooperation in the fields of security, migration, and justice. Civitta provides temporary workforce to eu-LISA. We are looking for a Legal Officer. In this role, you will share legal expertise and advice to ensure best legal practices in various areas. These include large-scale IT systems, IT law, EU law, and issues regarding public access to documents. You will support the Head of Unit and legal officers to ensure that agency activities comply with European Union and national law. Your tasks - Advising the Head of Unit and legal officers on personnel matters and topics related to employment contracts. - Providing legal advice and general legal assistance in the legal sector. - Performing tasks related to public access to documents. - Reviewing legal documents and decisions of the Executive Director and the Management Board. - Performing administrative tasks to support legal sector staff. - Ensuring accuracy and compliance with EU standards when working with legal documents.

Other requirements: - At least a 3-year higher education in law, obtained in an EU Member State or recognized as equivalent; a Master's degree is preferred.

• 1 year of work experience in the legal field - Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written (at least B2 level) - French language skills are an advantage. - Good communication skills, precision, and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly. - Readiness to work in an international environment and achieve results even under tight deadlines.
