...actively shape and drive forward - for this position, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) whose heart beats for systems in the plastics manufacturing and processing industry and modular solutions for the handling of plastic materials. As a consulting company, we are currently supporting our client in the search for a suitable person for whom special technical requirements are not a hurdle, but an exciting challenge.

Your tasks:

• Active market development in the sales territory through targeted new customer acquisition and support of existing customers
• Management and support of sales representatives to achieve common turnover and profit goals
• Preparation of technical offers in cooperation with Application and Inside Sales
• Analysis of market potentials and derivation of concrete sales measures
• Participation in international and national trade fairs
• Maintenance and expansion of customer relationships through systematic CRM processing

Your background:

• Completed technical or business studies (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Business Administration with technical affinity)
• Several years of experience in international sales of capital goods (B2B) in plant engineering within the plastics industry
• Sound knowledge in the use of CRM and ERP (Dynamics 365 and Business Central)
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
• Strong negotiation and closing skills as well as intercultural competence
• Reliable, independent, and result-oriented way of working
• Willingness to travel to Near/Middle East/Africa (focus on South Africa)
