Works Engineer (M/F)
Job Description:
As part of military MCO contracts/projects in Toulon, we are looking for a works engineer.
Your mission is broken down as follows: Under the authority of the Market Superintendent, within the framework of military MCO contracts managed in Toulon, you are responsible for the execution and coordination of works carried out by Chantiers de l'Atlantique teams and co-realizers on one or more ships.
As Operational Manager on the ship: You participate in the planning of works and the preparation of subcontracting orders. You manage the daily coordination of corrective and preventive works on your ship, and their progress in compliance with the 'safety, quality, costs, deadlines' objectives of the project and the company. You control the costs of your scope. You are in regular contact with the representatives of our Client (Fleet Support Service) and the ship's crew.
A man or woman of the field and action, you unite the teams to achieve the required efficiency on board and you are an active participant in continuous improvement actions.
Profile Description:
A generalist engineer by training, you ideally have an initial managerial experience in an industrial or construction environment.
Your taste for the field, your listening and communication skills, as well as your leadership, will allow you to become operational quickly. Oriented towards optimization and results, you demonstrate reactivity to find solutions as a team that allow you to reach your objectives.
You have a working command of English.
