Project Sourcing For each new piece of furniture, equipment, or concept, identify and select the supplier offering the best Quality / Price / Lead time (QPD) compromise, both in Europe and China.
Drive industrialization and production setup until final validation.
Supplier panel management and development Build, manage, and audit a high-performing and balanced supplier panel between Europe and China.
Ensure its diversification and continuous optimization by integrating 2 to 3 new strategic partners per year.
Tenders and contracting Define the scope, launch, and manage tenders for recurring categories (furniture, lighting, flooring, screens, POS, etc.).
Analyze offers, arbitrate supplier choices, and implement framework agreements guaranteeing competitiveness, quality, and supply security.
Development of the China logistics circuit Co-construct the import scheme from China with the Supply Chain: flow consolidation, international transport, customs clearance, quality control before shipment, and logistics cost optimization.
Material and innovation watch Identify new materials, manufacturing processes, and innovative finishes.
Conduct competitive intelligence and benchmarking of fit-out agencies, retailers, and brands to feed the concept roadmap and development projects.
Our dream profile ♥️ Holding an engineering degree or from a business school with a specialization in purchasing, supply chain, or industrial purchasing, you have significant experience of 10 years in industrial purchasing or sourcing, including at least 5 years in the retail, fit-out, or commercial design universe.
You master the challenges of international sourcing and have solid experience in managing and negotiating with Chinese suppliers.
A good understanding of manufacturing processes, furniture, materials, and industrial constraints is indispensable.
You possess professional English allowing you to communicate and negotiate with international partners.
Mastery of Mandarin is a real asset.
Autonomous and field-oriented, you are recognized for your negotiation skills, your ability to challenge technical solutions, and your high standards regarding costs, quality, and deadlines. Pragmatic and rigorous, you enjoy fast-growing environments and know how to build lasting relationships with demanding industrial partners.
