Mid-Level Project Engineer - Hybrid - Santos/SP and Rio de Janeiro/RJ
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Microsoft Office, Microsoft TEAMS, Power BI, SAP S/4HANA, Autodesk Navisworks Manage, Autodesk AutoCAD or MicroStation, Smart Plant Foundation, Smart 3D, Smart P&ID and Smart Review, SKM Power Tools, Microsoft Project.
English at a proficiency level capable of reading, understanding, and speaking to execute the following activities: Relationship with suppliers, contractors, and partners; Trainings/Courses; Software utilization; Interpretation and application of Norms, Guidelines, Standards, and Procedures.
Additional mandatory knowledge by area of expertise:
- Instrumentation: Smart Instrumentation.
- Process/Safety: Process simulators (Hysys, PRO II and similar), Pipenet.
- Safety: Software for monitoring safety studies and Risk Analysis.
- Naval, structures or architecture: Ansys Mechanical/Workbench (and/or DNV GeniE and/or Siemens FEMAP & NX Nastram), SAP2000.
- Piping, HVAC, static and dynamic equipment: CAESAR II, PV Elite, Ansys Mechanical and SpaceClaim (or NozzlePRO in substitution for Ansys Mechanical and SpaceClaim), Pro Arcondicionado.
- Project Automation: CAD/CAE engineering tools, Smart 3D, Cloudworxs, Smart P&ID, Smart Instrumentation, Smart Interop - PROTEUS / ENVIRON / PLAN 360, administer CAE tools - Hexagon (Smart 3D, Cloudworxs, Smart P&ID, Smart Instrumentation) and AVEVA (E3D), Microstation, Autodesk Navisworks Manager, Autodesk RECAP PRO, Leica Truview, Leica Cyclone (Register, Model, Enterprise) and WebTag.
- Planning and management: Microsoft Project, Microsoft Power Automate, Oracle Primavera
EXPERIENCE
Extensive experience in projects for the oil industry and offshore production units.
OR
Solid experience in projects for the oil industry and postgraduate studies in an area related to the activity to be performed by the service position in the contract.
OR
Solid experience in projects for the oil industry and offshore production units and PMI certification.
EDUCATION
Higher Education in Engineering with CREA Registration.
Note: For the Project Automation activity, a higher education degree in Systems Analysis (or related) with CRA registration will be accepted.
DUTIES
Support for project planning, including, among other described activities:
Prepare, verify, and approve technical documents and engineering studies of all complexities.
Plan, list, and quantify prepared documents. Prepare and revise procedures and standardizations for 3D and 2D project documents. Provide technical support to other areas/sectors of the system. Analyze the impact/need for general shutdowns or specific systems in the implementation of engineering projects within the operational routines of oil production plants. Participate in all stages of engineering projects from solution conception, basic design, detailed design, implementation, and AS-BUILT. Provide technical support to the Project Management Office (PMO) in the preparation of project schedules and other PMO duties. Issue opinions defining priorities, deadlines, planning, and resource allocation for projects. Perform and issue technical visit reports to suppliers, contractors, partners, and oil production units when requested. Participate in Working Groups, Commissions, Audits, Inspections, Hearings, and Meetings when requested. Issue, approve, and verify technical engineering documents applicable to the project commissioning stage. Monitor and provide technical support in the office, at supplier sites, and in operational areas during the implementation and commissioning stages of projects. Provide technical support to the procurement sectors and their contractors in supplier prospecting, selection, specification, and technical opinions on materials/equipment. Act in the prospecting of new suppliers, new equipment, and new technologies. Plan both the management and execution of commissioning, involving all areas that interface with the activity (Operation, Contractors, Maintenance, SMS, and others), defining and detailing the main technical elements, the schedule baseline, the organization, and the means for executing the commissioning process. Make available all documentation regarding receipt, assembly, and conditioning, as well as the physical means necessary for the execution of the next phase of commissioning (Pre-operation and Start-up). Identify equipment subject to Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), their monitoring conditions, and the collaborators responsible for monitoring the respective tests. Monitor the assembly, cleaning, inspection, and installation of equipment, piping, and instruments. Prove compliance with regulatory standards. Identify and record non-impeding pendencies. Apply Checklists (CLs) or Item Verification Sheets (IVS).
