Mechanical Engineering Technician - Strength Calculation (m/f/d) (Technician - Mechanical Engineering (Plant Engineering))

What awaits you:

• Performing strength calculations for statically and dynamically loaded pressure vessels, taking into account various regulations (e.g., DGRL, AD 2000, DIN EN 13445 and ASME) as well as customer-specific specifications
• Analysis of customer specifications in German and English
• Performing calculations and documentation of strength proofs, particularly for wind and earthquake loads as well as other additional loads
• Preparing calculations within classical mechanical engineering (shafts, bearings, etc.)
• Performing FEM analyses as well as stress-related investigations

What you bring with you:

• Completed studies (Bachelor) in the field of mechanical/plant engineering or an equivalent technical qualification, e.g., as a Bachelor Professional or state-certified technician
• Ideally (initial) practical experience in the calculation and design of pressure vessels according to the relevant technical standards and regulations (Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68EU, AD-2000, EN 13445 and ASME VIII Div.1)
• (Initial) experience with specialist calculation software for pressure vessels as well as FEM analyses
• Confident handling of common IT applications
• A goal-oriented, independent, and rational way of working, combined with a high degree of commitment, creativity, and team spirit
• Good English skills in speaking and writing (at least level B2)
