in the Management Staff of the THW Leadership in Bonn
EG 11 TVöD (Bund) – Fixed-term for 2 years from start of employment

If you are a civil servant, a secondment may occur for the period of the fixed term; however, reimbursement claims for salary from your authority will only be reimbursed up to the level of salary group A 11.
You will undertake the following tasks:
- Substantive preparation and follow-up of meetings, conferences, sessions, and other appointments of the authority leadership at home and abroad, including the creation of necessary documents
- Obtaining, requesting, preparing, and evaluating internal departmental information
- Creation and preparation of communication and decision-making documents, in particular briefing notes, presentations, speeches, reports, and minutes
- Preparation and review of templates for the authority leadership
- Collaboration in internal departmental task management, including the prioritization and follow-up of orders from the authority leadership
- Creation and updating of the annual work program
- Ensuring the flow of information within the management staff as well as to the participating organizational units
You bring with you:
- Successfully completed Bachelor's degree at a (technical) university, for example in the fields of Administrative Management or Public Management or a comparable field
- Applications can also be submitted by THW employees under collective agreements in a comparable middle service level who have acquired application eligibility within the THW
- Proven professional experience in a commercial and administrative field of activity, preferably in supporting management or leadership levels
- Experience regarding business processes within and between federal authorities and federal ministries
- Good knowledge of state and non-state organizations in civil and disaster protection
- Very good MS-Office skills as well as good English skills (at least level B 2)
- Strong communication and advisory competence, paired with social competence and flexibility
- Gender and diversity competence
- Willingness to undertake, as a rule, well-plannable, regular, nationwide, and multi-day business trips
- Willingness to perform duties and be reachable outside of usual working hours if required (e.g., in the event of an operation), to work in the management and coordination staff (LuK-Stab), and to wear service or operational clothing on certain occasions
