- You create arrangement drawings and design ship, deck, and special equipment for our new builds in 2D and 3D.
- You take on space responsibility and coordinate equipment arrangement in close coordination with the departments involved.
- You are responsible for the integration of the equipment systems into the overall ship system and work closely with the design and production departments.
- You coordinate technical solutions with classification societies, flag states, customers, and suppliers.
- You create technical specifications as a basis for procurement.
- You evaluate offers, prepare well-founded decision templates, and accompany the awarding process.
- You supervise, coordinate, and control our suppliers in the field of equipment and ensure timely implementation.
- You carry out factory acceptance tests and accompany the quality assurance of our equipment components.
Your Qualifications
- A successfully completed degree in the field of shipbuilding or further training as a Techniker (m/f/d) - alternatively a comparable technical qualification.
- Professional experience in shipbuilding equipment or a comparable technical environment.
- Confident handling of design programs, ideally AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D.
- Good knowledge of MS-Office applications as well as good English skills in speaking and writing.
- A structured and independent way of working as well as a confident and poised appearance.
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and enjoyment in working with interdisciplinary project teams.
- Commitment, sense of responsibility, and the motivation to successfully implement demanding technical projects.
