Development Engineer (m/f/d) (Engineer - Vehicle Electronics)
Your Tasks
- Development, design, and continuous optimization of industrial machines and assemblies
- Planning, control, and implementation of development projects considering costs, deadlines, and quality targets
- Technical design applying modern design principles, manufacturing processes, standards, and electrical engineering fundamentals
- Hands-on oriented collaboration from the concept phase to commissioning
- Use of CAD, PLM, and simulation tools to support the development process
- Identification, assessment, and management of technical and project-specific risks
- Cross-functional moderation and close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams, manufacturing, purchasing, and external partners
- Preparation and clear communication of technical content for internal and external contacts - also in English
- International travel as part of projects and coordination
Your Qualifications
- Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable technical discipline (e.g., Master in mechanical engineering)
- Several years of experience in the development and design of industrial machines or systems
- Very good overall technical understanding with a focus on design, manufacturing, and technical documentation
- Sound fundamental understanding of electrical engineering; knowledge of process engineering (ideally chemical industry) is an advantage
- Experience in participating in or leading development projects
- Strong hands-on mentality as well as high learning and adaptability
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working
- Teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of cross-functional moderation
- Willingness to travel worldwide
- Very good English skills (at least B2)
