- Creation of component and system designs, bills of materials, as well as workshop, assembly, and supplier drawings
- Responsibility for the development of individual components or complete system scopes
- Close coordination with production planning, purchasing, sales, quality assurance, and manufacturing
- Creation of functional specifications based on the customers' requirements specifications
- Technical clarification with suppliers and customers as well as support for production-related implementation
- Direct reaction to deviations and development of corrective measures
- Support of component tests and final inspections with customers
Your Qualifications
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering/design or a comparable qualification
- Several years of design experience, ideally in automotive construction
- SolidWorks knowledge desirable
- Structured, goal-oriented, and practical working style
- Proactive, team-oriented action in coordination with all interfaces
- Confident handling of MS-Office as well as very good English skills in speaking and writing
- Willingness for occasional business trips
