Legal Officer
Oversee, be responsible for, and provide legal advice related to the company's business operations to ensure that all processes and policies are legally compliant, including preventing and mitigating legal risks that may arise for the organization.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drafting and Reviewing Contracts:
Draft, inspect, review, and amend business contracts, sales contracts, service contracts, lease agreements, transportation contracts, contracts related to the sports business, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), and other legally binding documents.
- Advisory and Legal Matters:
Provide legal advice and suggest legal guidelines to executives and various departments (e.g., Sales, HR, Procurement, Accounting, Sports) to ensure operations comply with the law.
- Corporate Registration and Liaison with Government Agencies:
- Handle company registration and coordinate with relevant government agencies such as the Department of Business Development, Land Office, or various local government agencies.
- Prepare minutes of the Board of Directors meetings for the group of companies.
- Dispute Resolution and Litigation:
- Draft demand letters (Notice), response letters, or other legal documents.
- Represent the company in preliminary dispute mediation and negotiations.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Law. At least 5 years of experience in a corporate legal officer role or legal advisory role; experience working in a public company will be given special consideration. Possession of a lawyer license (Lawyer's License) will be given special consideration. English proficiency at a communicative level and the ability to review English contracts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP systems. Strong coordination skills and the ability to work well with others.
