At Avery Dennison, we are looking for a project coordinator to: Lead the introduction of new products and projects (NPI) from conception to mass production, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, resources (CAPEX/OPEX), and communication with customers to ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries under the company's quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
Main Functions:
Evaluation and Initiation: Receive, analyze, and manage the needs and initiatives for the introduction of new products (NPI) at the plant, from feasibility analysis to mass production and final delivery. Planning and Control: Formulate the comprehensive project plan, direct its execution, monitor progress, control risks, and periodically report progress to stakeholders. Advanced production planning: Execute the planning process for new product launches, aligning manufacturing capacity to ensure efficient and profitable production. Budgetary Control and Resources: Manage and justify capital investment requirements (CAPEX), operating costs (OPEX), supplies, and initial inventory required for the production startup. Technological Evaluation: Collaborate in the development of short- and long-term technology and product roadmaps, recommending capital investments, equipment modifications, and the incorporation of new technologies. Main Point of Contact: Serve as the primary communication channel with external and internal customers to coordinate scope, manage changes in expectations, and present project status. Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Maintain continuous communication with all operational and commercial areas of the plant to align priorities, needs, and deliverables. Leadership and Coordination: Lead multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating sequential and strategic activities with collaborators to ensure the correct adoption of new processes in the different areas. Quality and Regulations: Ensure that processes and materials (including RFID standards) comply with customer specifications, industry regulations, occupational safety, and environmental sustainability. Corporate Standards: Comply with and promote the internal labor regulations, Avery Dennison's ethics and values policies, the 5's methodology in the work area, and the responsibilities derived from assigned brigades or commissions.
