YOUR MISSION

• Leading projects for the development of new compound flavors and flavor components according to customer requirements, especially in the confectionery sector (beverages, dairy products)
• Processing GCMS analysis data (chromatography)
• Optimization of existing products and recipes
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements (especially EU flavor regulation)
• Development of new processes for extracting extracts and flavoring substances
• Conducting and participating in tastings and evaluating sensory tests
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams (R&D, quality assurance & analytics, marketing, food law, sales)
• Maintenance of bills of materials and raw material data in the PDM system
• Production of product samples as required

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Completed studies in food technology, chemistry, or a related field; alternatively, sound flavourist training or relevant vocational training with a strong interest in flavors
• Ideally around 3 years of experience in flavor development for the food and beverage industry; motivated career starters are also very welcome
• Very good sensory skills
• Creativity combined with technical expertise
• Experience with gas chromatography (GCMS)
• Curiosity and good market knowledge of flavors and their applications
• Structured, independent, and goal-oriented way of working, paired with a proactive "hands-on" mentality
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and resilience
• Very good English skills, another language, especially German, is an advantage
