Quality Control and After-Sales Service Laboratory Manager (M/F)
DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Quality and Performance Director, you will lead all activities of the Quality Control and After-Sales Service laboratory and guarantee the compliance of raw materials and finished products.
In this capacity, your missions will notably include:
- Managing, supporting, and developing the skills of a team of 8 employees
- Planning and supervising the control activities for raw materials and finished products
- Guaranteeing the application of analysis methods, procedures, and quality standards
- Leading the processing of non-conformities, searching for root causes, and implementing corrective actions
- Making the necessary decisions regarding the release or blocking of products
- Ensuring the link with Production, R&D, Marketing, sales teams, and other relevant departments
- Driving continuous improvement actions to optimize the performance, lead times, and organization of the laboratory
- You will also participate in crisis management meetings and play a central role in decision-making regarding quality issues.
REQUIREMENTS
With a higher education degree (Bac +3 to Bac +5) in chemistry, quality, or a related field, you have at least 5 years of experience in quality control within an industrial environment, supplemented by significant managerial experience.
Beyond your technical expertise, we are primarily looking for a manager capable of being close to the field while maintaining a high-level perspective: you know how to structure an activity, prioritize, make decisions, and support the progression of your team.
Your background has allowed you to acquire a technical culture broad enough to evolve in a complex and multi-technology industrial environment. Knowledge of industrial lubricant control techniques and/or analyses such as infrared, NIR, or spectrometry constitutes a real asset.
You are recognized for your leadership, rigor, autonomy, and ability to manage urgent situations.
A professional level of English allowing participation in exchanges with the Group is necessary.
