End-of-studies Internship – Standardization of Photovoltaic and Battery Plant Design
Who are we? We are an engineering group, a major player in the fields of building, water, energy, industry, and mobility. 100% owned by our employees, we are united by a single passion: practicing a profession that combines the art of designing with ingenuity and the commitment to realizing it. Our 11,000 employees, in more than 40 countries, create solutions every day for a positive life through our strategic challenges for the planet and humanity. Our teams are human-sized, prioritizing proximity, daily exchanges, and the sharing of experience. To facilitate reading, inclusive writing is not used in the body of this advertisement; terms used in the masculine refer to women, men, and non-binary people alike.
Main Mission – Standardization of the design of ground-mounted Photovoltaic plants and Batteries Within the EnR department and more specifically the Storage and Flexibility pole, you will be trained in the challenges associated with EnR plants. After years of carrying out PV and BESS projects, the team wishes to improve the quality of deliverables by standardizing documents intended for clients via our technical repository. With the support of your tutor, and building on the work carried out by the teams for more than 2 decades, you will be responsible for working on the standardization of design deliverables for PV and BESS plants for Project Management services: Definition of deliverables for each design stage (APS/APD/PRO/DCE/ACT…) for PV and BESS works, including the HTA (High Voltage) component Creation of standard deliverables for the use of the team's engineers: electrical diagrams, layout plans, digital architecture (SCADA & EMS)… Creation of methodological and organizational supports for client offers (planning, RACI organizational matrix…) Secondary Mission: Support for studies and discovery of the daily life of a design engineer You will be mobilized by project managers to participate in the realization of missions for our clients, such as feasibility studies, Due Diligences, yield studies, EnR plant design….
Your team You will join the Energy Storage/Photovoltaic pole of the Renewable Energies (EnR) department. The EnR department has been working in the field of photovoltaics, wind, and storage since the early 2000s and consists of about fifty people from diverse backgrounds, creating great diversity (M/F, nationality, age…), an enthusiastic blend of dynamism and experience. This department is organized into poles (Photovoltaic, Storage & Flexibility, Wind, and Multi-Energy) in order to develop expertise within them and put it at the service of projects while ensuring the transversality necessary for hybrid projects. The missions carried out cover: A wide spectrum of services: (strategy, feasibility studies, simplified and detailed preliminary designs, tender documents, execution study reviews, and construction supervision, consulting, audit) while ensuring the role of Project Manager (MOE) or Project Management Assistant (AMO)
A great diversity of projects: ground-mounted, floating, rooftop, solar carports, grid-connected or not, with or without storage,
A wide variety of clients: international funders, energy developers, local authorities…
A diversity of locations: France, DOM-TOM, Argentina, El Salvador, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Benin, Togo, Niger, Vietnam, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique…
Our team intervenes, for example, on the reconfiguration of the electrical distribution of an industrial site in France following a photovoltaic self-production project, or on hybrid plants in Kenya, or even on the grid connection of a large ground-mounted plant project in Central America.
Your assets You are preparing a BAC+5 level training in Electrical Engineering and renewable energies. Behavioral skills: Autonomy, synthesis skills, technical curiosity, rigor, ability to convey technical knowledge to non-experts.
Professional skills: Competence in electrical engineering. Basic knowledge of PV and BESS plant architecture.
You master office applications (Office pack); expertise in Auto-CAD and/or VISIO will be valued.
Linguistic skills: Professional proficiency in English; mastery of other languages will be a plus.
We offer you: A springboard for your future career at Artelia A tutor close to you within a human-sized team Business experts to accompany you on varied projects of different sizes A dedicated HR team to guide you during your internship
