The BRE agency in Le Havre carries out the design and realization of TCE projects for buildings intended for private and public clients. The agency carries out 3 activities: Industry (Chemistry, Petrochemistry, Pharmacy, Nuclear, Defense, and EPR) Functional, tertiary, and housing structures Operations as a General Contractor The agency is composed of 45 people. DETAILED JOB MISSIONS: Structure engineer capable of independently managing the missions entrusted to them, and acting as a technical leader for a team of multi-specialist structure experts. Intervention on standard industrial projects or those with high Structure technicality. The position requires frequent contact with the various project stakeholders; specialists from other areas of expertise, design offices, and industrialists. Their main missions are to: Collect the input data necessary to conduct studies; Design structures (Civil Engineering, Steelwork) while respecting current working methods, taking into account technical, economic, and regulatory constraints; Contribute to the justification of technical choices and compromises relating to the specifications, and draft the supporting documents for the studies; Ensure written production (Calculation notes, technical notices, analysis reports, technical specifications) and graphic production as provided for in the contract, while ensuring quality and consistency with the current phase; Collaborate with design teams to propose solutions meeting the requirements and constraints of the interfacing trades; Inform the Project Director, the Service Pole Manager, or the relevant Mission Manager of progress and difficulties encountered; Participate in internal business meetings or meetings with the client upon request of the Mission Manager; Monitor execution studies and construction methods produced by service providers; Apply the Artelia Management System (SMART) in the conduct of their tasks; Respect the procedures and methodologies implemented by ARTELIA in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 19443 standards; Respect the safety, security, and durability requirements applicable to the project. Possible travel within France.
You are the ideal profile if you have an engineering degree in civil engineering (INSA, ESTP, etc.); You have a successful experience of at least 8 years on industrial projects, if possible in the nuclear field; You have solid skills in stability calculation, structural calculation, foundation/settlement calculation, modeling and digital twins, as well as seismic studies, fire studies, and soil studies; You enjoy working in a team; Your communication is clear both in writing and orally; You are a curious, rigorous, and methodical person with good analytical and synthesis skills; You master calculation tools: ROBOT, GRAITEC (ANSYS APDL is a plus); You have a good knowledge of design codes (EUROCODES) as well as the contextual rules and frameworks of nuclear civil engineering (RCC-CW). Mastery of English is required.
