Your team: Your future at ARTELIA Industrie: You will join one of our establishments in the Alpes region (Grenoble, Chambéry, or Annecy), intervening with industrial players from various sectors: chemistry, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, mechanics, as well as other process industries. Your missions: As an Industrial Safety Engineer - Safety, you will intervene in the different phases of industrial engineering projects. In this context, your missions will consist of:

Risk analysis and compliance Prepare, perform, and facilitate hazard studies: HAZID, HAZOP, AMDEC, What-if, LOPA… Contribute to regulatory compliance (SEVESO, ICPE, ATEX, prefectural decrees…). ATEX studies, Identify safety barriers and evaluate their effectiveness (SIL, alarms, protections). Modeling & consequence assessment Model consequences related to the dispersion of flammable or toxic gases, the thermal effects of a fire, or overpressures from explosions. Use dedicated tools (e.g., PHAST, EFFECTS, FLUMILOG, FLACS, Safeti…) to determine impact distances. Integrate results into hazard studies, ALARP studies, and emergency plans. Propose risk reduction measures based on these simulations. Process safety Evaluate the criticality and control of industrial processes. Participate in the definition of safety barriers (SIS, alarms, protections). Monitoring of action plans resulting from risk analyses Continuous improvement & prevention Propose process risk reduction actions. Facilitate safety action plans and monitor their implementation. Support to operational teams Provide technical support to project teams. Conduct internal training (safety culture, behaviors, basic rules). Participate in modification or investment projects Integrate safety from the design phases (HSE by design) Peripheral knowledge (if possible) Conducting fire protection studies: Contribute to the definition, design, and sizing of active and passive fire protection systems (RIA, sprinklers, detectors, FOH, firewalls…). Participate in drafting or updating the site's fire master plan. Propose technical improvements to fire protection installations. Conduct or monitor fire engineering studies (Fire Safety Engineering) when relevant. Ensure the proper integration of fire safety into industrial projects (MOC/HAZID project reviews).

Support in managing operating permits (requested modification) Support clients in the preparation, updating, and compliance of their operating permits / regulatory files. Verify the consistency between installations, risks, and regulatory requirements. Participate in the structuring of technical elements necessary for obtaining or renewing permits.

Contribute to the monitoring of corrective actions allowing the maintenance of operational compliance

You are a person endowed with good methodology (synthetic – concise…), rigorous, and motivated.
