Context The Information Systems Department of Artelia, an international engineering group of more than 11,000 employees, supports the group's growth through the harmonization of information systems, the integration of new companies, and the deployment of common solutions on an international scale. As part of the Finance IT roadmap, the IT FINANCE team of the DSI is strengthening its SAP expertise to support the evolution and internationalization of the SAP Finance Core Model. The position is part of a strategic ERP environment, centered on the FI-CO and PS modules, as well as their interfaces with the satellite tools of the Finance information system. Main Mission As an SAP FI-CO / PS Expert reporting to the Finance IT Manager and working in close collaboration with the Finance Department, you will act as a functional and application referent on the structuring projects of the Finance IT roadmap and contribute to maintaining the operational conditions of the group's SAP Finance solution. Projects and Core Model evolution: participate in projects decided in the Finance roadmap, notably the internationalization of the SAP Core Model including satellites, its deployment to subsidiaries, and merger or company integration projects. RUN and application expertise: contribute to level 3 support, the correction of anomalies, daily evolutions, and documentation capitalization for the benefit of the support teams.
Detailed Responsibilities
- SAP Finance Projects – Internationalization and Core Model evolution
Participate as an SAP FI-CO / PS expert in the structuring projects decided in the Finance IT roadmap, from scoping to deployment and transition to RUN. Contribute to the internationalization of the SAP Core Model by ensuring the consistency of Finance, Management Control, and Project processes with the needs of international entities. Support the deployment of the Core Model to group subsidiaries, in connection with Finance teams, IT BUs, key users, and integration partners. Intervene in merger and company integration projects to facilitate the integration of new perimeters into the group's SAP Finance model. Analyze, formalize, and architect business needs in order to propose robust, standardized, and long-term maintainable SAP solutions. Implement the SAP Core Model evolutions requested by the business, by identifying the impacts on SAP-specific processes, interfaces, master data, and testing.
- SAP Finance Operations – Level 3 support and continuous improvement
Analyze business needs and propose suitable solutions Perform the configuration of SAP FI/CO modules and/or the development of SAP programs and interfaces using SAP standards, or by deriving them Participate in the correction of level 3 anomalies on the SAP FI-CO and PS modules, in connection with support teams, business units, and service providers. Contribute to the continuous improvement of application operations practices: incident management (N2/N3), change management, documentation, application mapping (LeanIX).
Profile sought Experience Techno-functional experience on FI-CO modules (mandatory), PS (appreciated), SD (appreciated), SAP GUI and FIORI Experience in international SAP Roll-Out projects Technical and methodological skills Very good knowledge of one or more accounting, budgetary, purchasing, sales, and management control processes Mastery of SAP S4/HANA: Development and maintenance of existing systems: ABAP, configuration of functional modules, transactions, OT, BAPI, API, iDocs Good experience with the SAP delivery process and traceability tools (AzureDevOps or Jira) and environment management (Dev, Qual, Prod)
Data skills Mastery of SQL language (complex queries, joins, aggregations, subqueries, CTE, etc.). Understanding of Extraction, Transformation, and Loading concepts from different sources (relational databases, flat files, APIs, etc.). Ability to collaborate with Data/BI teams to ensure the consistency of data models. (Interfaces, Reports,…)
