Export Sales Manager
ARCON is one of the largest producers of alcoholic beverages in the Republic of Armenia. The company is actively developing international sales of brandy, rum, and whisky. We are looking for a smart, active, highly ambitious, and goal-oriented B2B sales professional who will join our team to develop the sales of Armenian alcoholic beverages worldwide.
Direction: international markets, excluding Russia and Belarus.
The main goal is to find importers and distributors, establish contact with them, conduct negotiations, and turn new business connections into actual orders and long-term partnerships.
- Find potential buyers—importers, distributors, and wholesale companies—in the selected foreign markets.
- Identify decision-makers and independently establish contact with them through cold calls, emails, and other business communication channels.
- Conduct online and in-person meetings, presenting the company and its products in English.
- Identify buyer needs, suggest the appropriate range, prepare commercial offers, and discuss cooperation terms.
- Consistently work with the customer from the first contact to sending samples, coordinating the order, and the first delivery.
- Organize business meetings, customer visits to the production facility, and the company's participation in international exhibitions.
- Arrange meetings with buyers before exhibitions and continue negotiations after the events.
- Coordinate orders, documents, payments, and shipments in collaboration with partners.
- Manage the customer database and track the stages of the sales process, recording agreements, next steps, and deadlines.
- Study competitors, prices, and the specifics of selected markets, suggesting specific sales opportunities.
- Fluency in Business English—preferably at a C1–C2 level; the ability to conduct confident telephone conversations, negotiations, presentations, and professional business correspondence.
- At least one year of active B2B sales experience. We consider professionals with 1–3 years of experience and proven results.
- Practical experience in independent new customer prospecting, establishing cold contacts, and scheduling meetings.
- The ability to provide specific examples of one's own role in personally engaging customers and closing deals.
- Higher education. Preferred fields are business, economics, international trade, marketing, or foreign languages.
- The ability to present products clearly and persuasively, ask questions, identify customer needs, and handle objections.
- The ability to quickly study unfamiliar products and understand new commercial and production processes.
- Confident use of Excel, presentation tools, and customer management systems, with a willingness to learn the tools used within the company.
- Attention to calculations, prices, discounts, deadlines, and agreements.
- Autonomy: the ability to plan work, meet deadlines, and suggest the next step.
- Consistency, polite communication, and a willingness to work regularly with potential customers through cold contacts.
- Willingness to participate in international business trips and pre-arranged meetings, taking into account customer time zones.
Advantages will be:
- Knowledge of Chinese—at a level sufficient for communicating with business partners.
- Experience in international sales or working with foreign B2B customers.
- Experience working in the field of alcoholic beverages, other drinks, food, or other consumer goods.
- Experience working with importers and distributors, and participating in international exhibitions.
- Basic knowledge of export logistics, Incoterms, and foreign trade documentation.
Working Conditions
- Working hours: 09:00 to 18:00.
- Official employment: in accordance with the labor legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
- Dignified and fully official salary.
- Comfortable and modern office.
- Large and friendly team.
