Energy analyst

For an international consultancy firm within the energy sector, we are looking for an Energy System Consultant with a passion for sustainable energy and energy system planning. You will work on technical and strategic studies for clients worldwide, ranging from policy to grid design.

What you do:

• Supporting energy access and electrification projects with technical expertise and modeling.
• Performing simulations in tools such as PVSyst, PowerFactory, Plexos or Python, and structuring data.
• Translating analyses into visual reports, policy advice, and concrete action proposals.
• Contributing to studies on renewable integration, master plans, and grid expansion.
• Carrying out international missions for data collection, training, or presentations.
• Have a master's degree in (renewable) energy, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in the energy sector and an affinity for system planning.
• Communicate fluently in English and French.
• Prefer to work independently and are strong in collaboration within project teams.
• Are willing to travel internationally and have knowledge of tools such as QGIS, PVSyst, Plexos, PowerFactory, PSS/E, Python or Matlab.
