Purchasing Activity Manager M/F - ALSTEF Group
Reporting to the EMEA Purchasing Manager, you will ensure the definition and deployment of the purchasing strategy across several strategic families, particularly in the fields of mechanics, electrotechnics, automation, and automated handling equipment.
A true partner to the project teams, you will intervene from the early stages to optimize the competitiveness of our offers and secure our supply chain.
Your missions: Drive purchasing activity and performance
- Define and monitor performance indicators;
- Manage the budget for your activity;
- Build and drive purchasing roadmaps by family.
Define and deploy the purchasing strategy
- Develop sourcing strategies for the assigned families;
- Identify and develop new supply sources;
- Conduct market analyses and ensure supplier and technological monitoring;
- Drive cost reduction and performance improvement plans.
Develop and manage the supplier panel
- Build and sustain a high-performing panel of suppliers and subcontractors;
- Organize supplier reviews and evaluations;
- Drive associated action plans;
- Conduct strategic negotiations in France and internationally.
Support projects and secure supplies
- Participate in pre-project phases and propose sourcing strategies;
- Support sales and project teams in building offers;
- Participate in the development of specifications and framework agreements;
- Identify and anticipate supplier, industrial, and financial risks.With higher education in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering, you have significant experience in industrial purchasing, ideally in a technical and international environment.
You master negotiation techniques, Category Management, and supplier performance management.
Knowledge of mechanics and reading blueprints is expected. Notions in electrotechnics and automation are a plus.
You are recognized for your analytical skills, leadership, and ability to unite various stakeholders. Rigorous, autonomous, and results-oriented, you know how to manage several projects in parallel.
Fluency in English is essential. A second language would be appreciated.
Regular travel in France and internationally is to be expected.
