Responsibilities and duties

• Teach English Language classes for Middle School (Ensino Fundamental Anos Finais), High School (Ensino Médio), and Free Courses (Curso Livre).
• Plan and develop classes according to the institution's pedagogical proposal.
• Work with contents related to geographic space, society, environment, cartography, geopolitics, and current affairs.
• Elaborate activities, assessments, assignments, and pedagogical projects.
• Stimulate critical thinking, student participation, and the analysis of current themes.
• Monitor student performance, recording attendance, grades, and pedagogical observations.
• Use different didactic resources, such as maps, images, videos, texts, digital platforms, and case studies.
• Participate in pedagogical meetings, class councils, training, and other school activities.
• Maintain aligned communication with coordination, the pedagogical team, students, and families when necessary.
• Contribute to an organized, respectful, and collaborative learning environment.

Requirements and qualifications

• Degree in Letras (Licenciatura).
• Experience with Middle School (Ensino Fundamental Anos Finais) and/or High School (Ensino Médio) will be a differentiator.
• Mastery of the main contents of the Geography area.
• Good communication, organization, and classroom management.
• Ability to work with adolescents and different learning profiles.
• Ease with technological resources and educational platforms.
• Capacity to relate Geography contents with current themes.
• Commitment, responsibility, and professional posture.
• Availability to work in regular classes and/or free courses.
