Working Student Project Management Engineering (d/m/w)

Are you a full-time student (d/m/w) looking for a working student position? Then apply now! We would be happy if you support us in Project Management as a working student (d/m/w) with approx. 18 hours per week!

• Location: Hamburg
• Start: 01.01.2026
• Duration: 12 months

With us, you will receive a collective agreement salary of at least €18.53 per hour depending on the activity. In addition, there are special payments such as holiday pay.

We are 15 Project Managers working on different projects in Hamburg, Toulouse and UK, embedded in a larger international context.

Your Location

You will work in the largest production site for civil aircraft in Hamburg. Due to its location on the southern bank of the Elbe, there is the possibility to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your free time, where pulsating metropolitan culture meets nautical heritage.

Finkenwerder

You might wonder how you actually get from the university to Airbus? Your working student position is located at the plant in Finkenwerder and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry pier and back to the university in the mornings and from midday. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then cycle for approx. 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

• You will participate in projects carried out together with Airbus Engineering. These are development projects, but other topics such as general improvement initiatives will also be processed.
• As part of this activity, various tasks from the field of Project Management arise. (Reporting, planning, Risk Management, cost management, Resource Management etc.)
• You will be intensively involved in these areas and will work in particular on further digitalizing working methods, especially through the use of AI.

Required Knowledge and Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time student (d/m/w) in the field of Engineering; Industrial Engineering; Project Management; Business Informatics or a comparable field of study.
• Business fluent English, good German skills are an advantage.
• Good IT skills, especially regarding the digitalization of processes and the use of AI.
• Initial knowledge in Project Management.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independent working.
