An offer titled "AIRFRAME Methods Preparer H160/H175 M/F" has just opened within Airbus Helicopters at its Marignane site.
This position will consist of:
With a global approach (costs, quality, deadline, safety), successfully carrying out all requests for new installations or modifications within the scope by taking into account:
- Steering Industrializations (including budgets)
- Progress reviews with the design office, criticizing and validating the definition (3D printing prototyping to be carried out before validation)
- Launching tooling after mitigating risks (prototypes, proto, 3D printing, ...)
- Series launch
- Routines to drive needs for the first aircraft
- Defining and creating assembly operations following the model in force on the program
- Supporting the workshop + participating in the first assemblies in order to ensure the maturity of the industrialization
- Managing observed deviations and following resolution processes
The main objective being that the modification is as transparent as possible for production. The position may also require managing improvement projects. Production support. STL / Datapack Management (Supplier Relation). Management of an activity transfer from Marignane to China. Knowledge of H175 installations is an asset.
Tasks and responsibilities:
You will contribute to the following main activities:
- Collaborative design to the definition of the new installation (Co-Design/Co-Indus)
- Contributing to all design phases to ensure that industrial needs are taken into account.
- Introducing manufacturing best practices/standardization into the design
- Defining the manufacturing process
- Calculating time at the operation level (standard time value in the routings)
- Managing technical sequencing (the order of assembly phases)
- Specifying industrial needs (jigs, tools, tooling, machines,...) for creation or modification
- Leading the implementation of the first installation with feedback loops
- Planning regular feedback loops with the production team.
- Developing, participating in configuration management
- Creating / updating routings / the parts list / assembly instructions taking into account workshop needs, time calculation, and work preparation golden rules in accordance with applicable processes
- Executing standard work (the best way to perform the tasks described in the instruction sheet)
- Ensuring the execution of robust, reliable, and safe operations
- Executing and supporting risk analyses
- Participating in the development of the quality plan by proposing control tasks.
- Contributing to supply chain management by ensuring data consistency and efficiency
- Taking health and safety regulations into account
- Taking the production schedule and economic aspects into account.
- Producing routings, bills of materials, and standard operational instructions
- Managing key / recurring work preparation problems reported by the production team / workshop technical support
- Communicating directly and through physical participation in production team routines and participating in project work in cross-functional teams
- Supporting continuous improvement in the workshop by providing work preparation expertise when problems are not managed at the workshop level, via workshop technical support.
- Optimizing the subsequent development of production processes
- Evaluating the industrial impacts of modifications in collaboration with different trades
Skills and Prerequisites:
- Knowledge/mastery of Assembly Preparation: reading and using plans and bills of materials, ATA 100
- Technical assembly knowledge: assembly references, type of tooling to use, type of resources to put in place, etc.
- Use of the CATIA tool: creation of views, sections, etc. Design under CATIA would be a plus
- Knowledge of preparation tools SAP, wiplink or delmia, NCM, MES...
- Technical curiosity regarding the product with a view to its follow-up in terms of processes
- Rigor, Reactivity and adherence to standards
- Knowledge of the manufacturing processes of elementary parts would be a plus
- Knowledge of the H175/H160/Super Puma would be a real asset
Language skills:
- English: necessary to exchange with China during the transfer
