Your future missions:
By joining our team, you will participate in various missions, all oriented towards the development of innovative situational awareness and mission management solutions. Together, we will contribute to the activity of the Situational Awareness and Mission Management department, which is in charge of perception functions (weather, terrain, threats, traffic), enhanced vision systems, targeting, data links, and mission management for all Airbus Helicopters helicopters (civil and military) and vehicles (e-)VTOL.
Your main missions will be as follows: Define and implement operational concepts and use cases for radar systems (weather, search and rescue SAR, tactical) and surveillance systems. Perform requirements engineering and ensure planning at the equipment and helicopter level for development, qualification, and certification. Evaluate offers, interface with, and manage suppliers throughout the development phases by applying agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe). Provide technical support during integration bench (rig) tests, ground, and flight tests. Actively contribute to the radar/surveillance product strategy, market solution benchmarking, and Research & Technology (R&T) activities.
Your profile: Minimum expected professional experience level: Significant and proven experience in the design, development, engineering, or integration of radar systems (or radar-based systems) in the aeronautical field. Technical expertise: Systems engineering and avionics requirements management, technical management of equipment suppliers, practice of agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe). This position requires obtaining a security clearance. Languages: Fluent English / negotiation level. Proficiency in French, German, or Spanish is an asset. Soft skills: Team spirit, excellent communication, ease in stakeholder management, adaptability.
