Service Owner Analytics & Senior BI Developer

Take ownership of modern analytical solutions and develop data-driven products with Databricks, Power BI and SQL in a cross-functional organization. Do you want to combine technical depth in BI and data with clear ownership of analytical products? In this role, you will drive the modernization of the analytical landscape and translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

About the role

• Take ownership of selected analytical and BI services.
• Work in a cross-functional data and analytics environment.
• Combine hands-on development with prioritization and stakeholder dialogue.
• Contribute to the transition from legacy BI solutions to a Databricks-based platform.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and support analytical and BI solutions.
• Build data models, transformations, and reusable analytical components in Databricks.
• Create semantic models, reports, and dashboards in Power BI.
• Translate business needs into scalable data processes and data products.
• Support AI-related analytical use cases through data preparation and feature-ready datasets.

We are looking for someone who has

• Senior experience in developing BI and analytical solutions with clear business value.
• A strong ability to drive work forward, create structure, and prioritize in complex environments.
• Experience collaborating with both business, data engineers, and technical platform teams.
• The ability to explain technical choices and analytical opportunities to different target groups.
• Experience in several business areas, such as finance, sales, or operations.

Technology & Tools

• Databricks: notebooks, SQL, data modeling, and transformation patterns.
• Power BI: semantic models, DAX, report design, and performance optimization.
• SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT principles.
• Qlik Sense is a merit for the maintenance or migration of existing solutions.
• Knowledge of AI/ML-related data preparation and analytical use cases is a merit.

Practical information Location: Göteborg. Work model: Hybrid, with work at the office 2–3 days per week. Language: English.
