DevOps Software Engineer – Embedded Platform

Build tools and development environments for next-generation embedded software platforms in the automotive industry. Do you want to develop tools and environments that make it possible to build, test, and deliver safe software for the vehicles of the future? Here, you will get to work hands-on at the intersection of software development, DevOps, and embedded systems. About the role You will become part of a team that develops a central computing platform for vehicles. The focus lies on development and delivery tools for software that runs on vehicle-proximate computer platforms. You will work with a full-stack oriented development environment for embedded systems.

What you will do Design, develop, test, and integrate software and development tools. Improve flows for continuous integration and software deliveries. Develop robust, modular, and stable platform components. Collaborate with teams building applications for connected and intelligent vehicles.

We are looking for someone who has Good development experience in a Linux environment. Knowledge of Python as well as C/C++ for POSIX-like environments. Experience in shell scripting and automation. Understanding of CI/CD flows and software integration.

Technology & Tools Operating systems and languages: Linux, Python, C/C++, POSIX and shell scripting. CI/CD and build: Jenkins, Bazel and Zuul. Code review and packaging: Gerrit and Docker.
