Buyer / Procurement Officer (m/f) (M/F)

ADECCO VIERZON is looking for its client, a leader in the manufacturing of personal protective equipment against falls from height, for its future BUYER / PROCUREMENT OFFICER M/F to strengthen its teams at its Vierzon site.

Reporting to the Supply Chain department, you will guarantee the availability of components necessary for production and ensure the interface between operational teams, suppliers, and purchasing. In this capacity, your main responsibilities are:

• Create purchase orders based on production forecasts and internal needs;
• Issue orders to listed suppliers while respecting current agreements;
• Ensure the monitoring and updating of procurement forecasts;
• Manage billing discrepancies and resolve supplier disputes;
• Occasionally negotiate prices and purchasing conditions for non-contractual needs;
• Handle alerts and anomalies in the purchasing system (invoices, quantities, lead times...)
• Participate in the continuous improvement of procurement performance and the monitoring of performance indicators (OTTR, service rate, etc.).

You are recognized for your rigor, your sense of organization, and your interpersonal skills. A Bac +2 degree in Transport Management and Associated Logistics, International Trade, or equivalent; A minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing and/or procurement in an industrial environment; A good command of written English and an intermediate level of spoken English; Proficiency in Excel and an ERP (knowledge of SAP is a real asset); Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
