We are currently looking for a Sr Activator to work with our client TGS in their Puerto Madero offices.

Task Description

  • Perform the follow-up and activation of national and international equipment suppliers (turbines, compressors, shelters, control systems, separators, coolers, heaters, etc.).
  • Provide support to the sector with the follow-up and activation of other materials when required.
  • Periodically report to the activation coordinator and to the projects regarding progress in the manufacturing of each supply and even in third-party workshops, keeping the information updated.
  • Generate reports when required.
  • Coordinate inspections together with the quality manager / outsourced agencies.
  • Perform activation inspections in supplier workshops when necessary.
  • Manage mitigation plans and actions against possible supplier delays, seeking a balance between what is required by the internal client and the real / possible situation.
  • Interact collaboratively with Projects, Warehouses, or other company Facilities, notifying significant entries of materials and equipment about to be received from suppliers, as well as contributing to the coordination of equipment pickups to be carried out.
  • Follow up on the process of issuing technical documentation required for each equipment by the technical area of each project, avoiding delays and resolving possible conflicts through dialogue and interaction with project managers and suppliers.
  • Survey and manage the specific contact pool of each supplier, identifying key actors for each aspect of the follow-up (engineering, production, quality, commercial, others). Manage and work using communication matrices with each one and ensure their application for orderly and effective communications.
  • Coordinate Kick off meetings and periodic equipment follow-up meetings, leading them and maintaining an orderly work scheme (agenda and minutes), as well as the follow-up of each of the open items.
  • Will be the coordinating link between the supplier and the different areas of TGS, facilitating the supplier's work and requesting everything necessary to ensure that the purchase order progresses without delays under the agreed terms.

Requirements

  • Professional, preferably Industrial / Mechanical / Chemical / Civil Engineer.
  • Verifiable experience of at least 5 years in the follow-up and activation of project equipment purchase orders in the Oil & Gas market. Good command of the English language (oral and written).
  • Resolutive, proactive, and methodical profile. Dynamic attitude, open to change, with a strong focus on the client and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency in SAP MM module.
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Power point, MS. Project / Primavera.
  • Ability to communicate (oral and written) and interact with professionals from different areas (engineering, purchasing, quality, projects, and works).

Direct hiring with TGS for an indefinite period is offered.

  • Working days from Monday to Friday, 4x1 scheme (4 days on-site and 1 day home).
