To continue our expansion, we are looking for you as a Payroll Expert/Lohnbuchhalter (m/f/d).

Our daily portion of Action

As a Payroll Expert, you are part of the HR Service Center and report directly to the Coordinator HR Service Center. The Payroll team is currently responsible for the correct and punctual payroll processing for more than 15,000 employees in our stores and in the Country Office.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Guidance and support of the Payroll team
• Close cooperation on a national and international level with the HR teams
• Advising managers and employees in our nationwide stores with sound process and specialist knowledge
• Execution of the monthly payroll
• Exchange with health insurance companies, authorities, and offices as well as data processing
• Ensuring and further developing the payroll and the processes
• Clarification of tax law and social security law specifics
• Support during audits and SV-, as well as tax audits
• Processing of wage garnishments and insolvencies
• Reporting and certification systems

What you bring with you

• Successfully completed commercial vocational training, ideally with further training in the field of payroll accounting
• At least 3 years of professional experience in (internal and/or external) payroll accounting as well as sound specialist knowledge
• Routine handling of MS-Office products, especially Excel
• Knowledge in SAP-HCM (Personalabrechnung) and SuccessFactors (EC Payroll) advantageous
• A high degree of confidentiality as well as absolute accuracy and reliability
• Teamwork skills as well as high service orientation
• Strong ability for structured working
• A high degree of service orientation and a strong hands-on mentality
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
