Schneider Electric and one of their largest customers have started a significant collaboration aimed at optimizing and improving the efficiency of data center operations. By combining their expertise in the fields of energy and digital management, they have succeeded in developing innovative solutions that improve both energy efficiency and sustainability in data center operations.

As an implementation engineer, you will work on the implementation of Schneider's application solutions by testing and responding to switchgear, generators, UPS devices, and other electrical monitoring. You will configure hardware so that it communicates correctly with other systems and protocols. Nothing is left to chance, which means that all steps are tested, quality-assured, and monitored to achieve the best possible performance and to ensure that all values are recorded correctly in the database.

To ensure the best possible start, you will receive orientation and participate in Schneider's internal training. You will belong to a small team with an open atmosphere and good cohesion. On-site work takes place in good company with both internal and external colleagues. The start of the employment is at the end of May or the beginning of June 2026.

Job Tasks

As an implementation engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that the electrical monitoring in the system or switchgear works correctly before its implementation. Your tasks consist mainly of the following:

• Configuring and implementing the entire application solution
• General electrical monitoring to ensure that specifications and standards are met
• Performing various tests to identify potential problems and to ensure that all systems operate efficiently and safely
• Collecting and compiling all necessary documentation, including test results and implementation reports
• Collaborating with other engineers, technicians, and project managers to ensure smooth operation and customer cooperation

We are looking for

• A suitable educational background in electricity or automation (e.g., electrician or UAS studies)
• Knowledge of electricity through education or previous work experience
• Strong and genuine interest in both technology and data
• Fluent English language skills
• B-driver's license and a personal car

We value if you have

• Fluent Finnish language skills are considered an advantage
• Previous experience working with servers or switches
• Knowledge or experience with SCADA systems (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition)
• Experience with Modbus, BACnet, or other communication protocols
